Card condition guide
Every single card on this site is graded by hand against the five-step scale below: Near Mint, Lightly Played, Moderately Played, Heavily Played and Damaged. Sealed product uses Factory Sealed, and third-party graded cards use the grader’s own numeric scale.
A card that looks unplayed. Sharp corners, clean edges, no creases, no writing, and only the faintest manufacture or handling marks on close inspection.
Light wear from play or shuffling: minor edge whitening, a soft corner, or light surface hairlines. No creases. The card still presents cleanly in a sleeve.
Obvious play wear. Whitening along several edges, softened corners, or light scratches. Still structurally sound, with no heavy crease through the artwork.
Heavy wear that a collector would notice at arm's length: creases, deep scratches, dirt, or missing chunks of ink. Honest and priced accordingly.
A card with a defect that affects integrity or display: a tear, water damage, a hole, or a crease that has broken the card stock.
Unopened product in factory wrap. Any box scuffs or dented corners are described separately from the seal.
