Phantasmal ETB refers to the unique, often surreal, and deeply synergistic Enters the Battlefield abilities found across the Phantasmal Booster Box. These aren’t your grandfather’s ETBs. These effects warp time, manipulate memory, summon echoes, and even rewrite the battlefield as the creature or spell arrives.

1. Echoed Entry (New Mechanic)

“When this permanent enters the battlefield, create a token copy of it. That token has ‘When this token leaves the battlefield, return it to its owner’s hand.’”

  • ETB: Create a token copy. When the token leaves, return it to your hand.
